After the visit to the Bac ha markets we stayed overnight in a fancy hotel in Sapa, our tour had been arranged in Hanoi by the Atrium hotel owner, the tour included all meals , guides, accommodation and travel.
It had snowed in Sapa only a few days before our arrival and it was very cold with low cloud cover that made it imposable to see any views. The hotel fed and pampered us and when they put us to bed the young male took us to our room, made sure we had wifi and turned the heating on. Teresa didn't want the heater on but I talked her into it. thank goodness I did as it was freezing After breakfast a vehicle took us to our home stay. 12 k away. most people trek there, but, we were not equipped for trekking in freezing weather , so a vehicle was booked to take us there.
