It was up bright and early, we had every thing sorted and were on the road by 7am. We were crusing along when I realised a big truck had apeared in our dust cloud so I moved over and he tore off leaving us in a cloud of dust that lasted for about 10 min. we had seen a few camels on the road, but now with that truck in front we knew we would see no more for a while.
we called into Cosmo as they call it a settlement for thr aborignies., Not a sole in sight.
started to take a few photos ,till Teresa read a sign saying no photography. so we pushed on.
As they day wore on we saw lots of Camels and the odd Kangaroo, lots of car wrecks that have just been left next to the road. and a few more cars travelling the road in one big hail of dust. the last time I was on this road was 1963 and it was a single lane track, but now its
the width of 6 cars. We arrive at Tjukayiria Road house, and refueld at $2.40 a ltr. the owner told us he got his fuel delivered from Darwin.
while we were there a Pajero arrive and got fuel also, it was trvelling the same way as us.
Two girls we the only people in it much to Teresa's suprise.
Will post this again now
