Our Dinner table Mob of Australians |
bye. We have just completed a 24 day cruise on The EXPLORER of the SEAS from Sydney to Seattle we can not fault the food the entertainment or the service it was excellent all round. One had to skip at least one meal a day just to feel comfortable with such a large intake of food. They had some top class shows our only problem was we had seen 3 or 4 shows before on other cruises we have been on. But. We were well entertained every night
This cruise had us go to three countries in the Pacific that we had never been to before. New Caledonia Vanuatu and Fiji. With 7 days at seas in a row after FIJI and one day repeated being 2nd May one was happy to be standing back on land when we reached Hawaii.
We had the same eight people dinning every night at the same table. all were Australians from all round Australia Aussies and yanks were the main passengers on board with aussies out numbering the yanks 2 to 1.

Noumea |
With two ports of call in Hawaii we were lucky we had been to both of them before as first time visitors were running out of time to see it all.

Mystery Island Vanuatu |
All the photos below were taken on Mystery Island.
No one lives on the island but when a cruise ship pays a visit they come to fleece the tourists from many surrounding islands
There was a lot of action the day we visited as the Prime Minister had flown in for the opening of a brand new landing wharf.
He then had a tour of the ship and lunch on board.
