After several visits to Vietnam we can see lots of changes , one notable change is that the students wanting to practice their english at the lakes edge in Hanoi,they now produce a I phone and video the whole conversation along with a couple of photos to prove that they did their assignment.
One of the reasons for a Vietnam re-visit was to attend the Sunday Markets at Bac Ha and go back to Sapa. Our last visit to Sapa was in 1999, now we could hardly recognise the place Hotels have sprung up every where.
